Product Description
The Matrix Wound Care System is the only Equine First Aid product that can address each stage of the healing process and is unmatched by anything else on the market. Every phase of the healing process is addressed whether it be from a puncture, laceration or a broad, fleshy, draining, and unsuturable wound to a dry, superficial abrasion!
As the owner of Horse Favors! and a consumer I will use nothing else! With the Matrix Kit I can treat the superficial to the most horrific wounds. I love the aloe salve for sunburn, minor scratches and abrasions.. like where the "coat" is missing! The aloe salve totally assures hair regrowth without the loss of original "coat" color! It is great when a dressing is needed under wraps because it will not stick to a wound, infact it is just absorbed by the tissue.
The Phenol cleanser is awesome! Phenol is a broad spectrum anti-microbial, antipruritic, and topical anesthetic! The Phenol is delivered using pump/spray or stream. When on stream a deep puncture can be irrigated with 7lbs of pressure! Yes! This is the same Phenol found in our disinfectants, antiseptics and topical anesthetics such as sore throat washes and lozenges!
The HydroGel is also a phenol product in a water/gel form. Moist wounds heal faster and with less chance of scabbing thus scarring! I personally like the HydroGel for soothing midge bites on tails, bellies, and even inside ears! I use my hands to apply and rub in!
If I even "suspect" rain rot or scratches... I'll treat with the phenal cleanser right away! Then that is that!
